Felix Nmecha (7/10) - Nmecha has been showcasing why captain Emre Can lost the starting role as Borussia Dortmund's number six. As a pivot, his ball skills and carrying abilities are evolving after each match while the German international solidifies himself following an underwhelming first season at the club.

Marcel Sabitzer (5/10) - Sabitzer has not been in the same shape as last season. Since Nuri Sahin's arrival as BVB head coach, the Austrian has been struggling to find his best form. In this match, he missed a couple of shots from close range and did not contribute as much without the ball, either.

Gio Reyna (6/10) - An interesting display from the young American following a lengthy injury hiatus. He might not have caught many eyes in this particular match, but his clever positioning and contribution on and off the ball had a good impact on the team. Always helpful to have a proper attacking midfielder on the field, especially with Brandt out.
