Jamie Gittens (6/10) – My criticism of Gittens in this match is that he was not involved enough because when he found space, he used it very well. Even his headers were good, winning seven aerial duals. Dortmund lost their attacking threat once Gittens came off.
Karim Adeyemi (6/10) – Adeyemi’s speed continues to be his strongest trait, as he completed more dribbles than any other player on the pitch. Still, he didn’t always create clear-cut chances with those runs. Like Gittens, however, Dortmund’s attacking threat disappeared when Adeyemi came off.
Serhou Guirassy (7/10) – Guirassy scored the opening goal, which was his first from open play in nearly three months. That goal was also his only shot of the game, and his passing rate was well below average.
