Marcel Sabitzer (6/10) – The Austrian struggled through much of this match, gifting the ball to Heidenheim far too frequently. Yet, as the match wore on, Sabitzer began to look stronger and was even involved in Maxi Beier’s goal.

Julian Brandt (5/10) – Brandt also had difficulty finding his footing in this match despite having looked as strong as the ten in the last week. He was wrestled off the ball too easily and couldn’t create the chances we know he’s capable of.

Pascal Groß (6/10) – Groß was inconsistent in this match, becoming heavily involved in build-up at times, but his passing into the final third left much to be desired. His stray touch on the ball also led to Heidenheim’s goal, but there was little he could have done about it.
