Borussia Dortmund submit updated squad for UEFA Champions League

With some turnover during the January transfer window, Niko Kovač has named a new squad list for Champions League, ahead of playoff clash with Sporting CP

Niko Kovač took the reins of Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of a week filled with transfer news, rumors, and re-shuffling of key personnel. Thanks to a good win against Shakthar Donetsk in Champions League under Mike Tullberg, Borussia Dortmund finished 10th in the league table and were subsequently drawn against Sporting in the knockout playoff. 

As Niko Kovač prepares for his first UCL match in charge of Dortmund, he’s named an updated squad of players: 

Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel, Silas Ostrzinski, Alexander Meyer, Robin Lisewski, Marcel Lotka

Defenders: Yan Couto, Waldemar Anton, Nico Schlotterbeck, Ramy Bensebaini, Emre Can, Daniel Svensson, Niklas Süle, Julian Ryerson, Felippo Mane, Almugera Kabar, Tyler Meiser, Elias Benkara
