Borussia Dortmund will hope to deliver a much improved performance and return to winning ways as they face newly promoted St. Pauli in the Bundesliga on Friday evening.

The Black and Yellows will look for home comforts to steer them to victory once again on Friday as they welcome St. Pauli to the Westfalenstadion. Borussia Dortmund have won all of their matches at home so far, but their away woes in the Bundesliga mean that they are sitting in seventh place in the standings going into this matchday seven clash.

Of course, the table does not mean much at this stage of the season. And Nuri Sahin will hope for a comfortable win for his side against St. Pauli, who are still adjusting to life in the Bundesliga after earning promotion last season.

Borussia Dortmund will be without a number of key players on Friday, including the likes of Karim Adeyemi, Julien Duranville, Yan Couto, and Gio Reyna. With injuries and illness striking the BVB camp, here is how they could line up against St. Pauli on Friday.
