Borussia Dortmund will be determined to make light work of SC Freiburg when the two sides square off in the Bundesliga this weekend.
It will be fifth vs seventh in the Bundesliga this Saturday as Borussia Dortmund take on SC Freiburg at the Westfalenstadion. We are all set for an exciting contest between two sides still looking to find their feet in the league this season.
Nuri Sahin hasn't enjoyed the start he would have hoped for to life as Borussia Dortmund head coach, with the team's struggles away from home in the spotlight. At home, though, the Black and Yellows have a perfect record this season and will fancy their chances of continuing that against a Freiburg side that has found goals slightly hard to come by in recent weeks.
However, Freiburg have been solid defensively for the most part under new head coach Julian Schuster. Unlike Borussia Dortmund, who have often looked all at sea at times while trying to protect their goal.
Borussia Dortmund will be without top scorer Serhou Guirassy on Saturday, and Maximilian Beier will look to make his mark in his absence. Also key will be former Freiburg centre-back Nico Schlotterbeck, who has been ever-present for BVB over the last two seasons.
Freiburg will be relying on Vincenzo Grifo to come up with the goods in attack once again. The evergreen Italian winger has five goals and six assists to his name this season, and likes playing against Borussia Dortmund.
