Borussia Dortmund will be in Bundesliga action on Friday evening as they go up against St. Pauli at the Westfalenstadion.
After struggling for much of the opening two months of the season, Borussia Dortmund will hope to kick-start their Bundesliga campaign with a statement win against St. Pauli. The Black and Yellows were handed a 2-1 defeat by Union Berlin before the international break, and will be desperate for the three points at home on Friday.
St. Pauli have been struggling for goals since returning to the Bundesliga, but did hold RB Leipzig to a draw last month. They will hope to take inspiration from that performance and frustrate Borussia Dortmund in a similar manner.
Serhou Guirassy will have a crucial role to play for Borussia Dortmund once again on Friday. The striker is in sublime form, having scored five goals for Guinea during the international break. Jamie Gittens will likely join Guirassy in attack, with BVB still without the likes of Karim Adeyemi, Julien Duranville, and Gio Reyna.
