Gregor Kobel (6/10) – Despite Kobel being unstable in distribution, he can hardly be directly blamed for any of the conceded goals. Also, if it hadn't been for a couple of key second-half saves, it could have been a way more dilated results.

Niklas Süle (2/10) – Süle committed direct mistakes in both goals. While losing a key duel that preceded Bochum's opener, a poor pass to Kobel turned into delivering an easy assist to Masouras to score his second of the match.

Emre Can (4/10) – The captain was poorly positioned on Bochum's second goal, giving a free lane to Hofmann to assist Masouras's opening goal. He had a couple of good tackles in the second half, but nothing that could have saved his grading.

Niko Schlotterbeck (5/10) – Nico had a decent first half after returning from suspension, but he regressed with the rest of the team in the second half.

Daniel Svensson (5/10) – Svensson also did not compromise as much as the right side of the defensive line, but he also did not impact much, mainly on the offensive aspect.
