Maxi Beier (N/A) – Maxi had a promising start to this game, but an awkward tackle left him in visible pain. He tried to play through it, but was ultimately ineffective in the minutes following his injury, and ultimately had to leave the pitch. We will hope he gets better soon!
Serhou Guirassy (6/10) – Gurassy did what Guirassy does best, and that’s scoring. He had two shots in this match, one was scored, and the other saved but converted by Svensson. Guirassy also accidentally blocked a shot from Süle, which looked to be accurate, and he deflected a Ryerson cross intended for Chukwuemeka. Guirassy is brilliant at scoring, but his poor spatial awareness of his teammates perhaps made this a more complicated match than it needed to be.
Karim Adeyemi (5/10) – This was an uncharacteristically frustrating game from Karim Adeyemi. He struggled more with Joe Scally and Rocco Reitz, than I would have anticipated, and he lost more duals than any other player on the pitch. He assisted Nmecha’s goal, but otherwise struggled influencing the match.
