One of the more recent examples of players who played for Dortmund and Bayern Munich is Niklas Sule. Thankfully for fans, he is a modern example of a player who made the RIGHT choice, by signing for Dortmund FROM Bayern Munich. He has been a Dortmund player since 2022 and he seems to be enjoying himself at the Signal Iduna Park.
17. Raphaël Guerreiro
2023 was the year which saw long-term Dortmund star Raphaël Guerreiro join their Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich. After a lengthy seven year spell at the Signal Iduna Park, the defender joined Bayern Munich in 2023. Although, Dortmund fans will hope he spent his best years playing in front of the yellow and black wall.
18. Marcel Sabitzer
Marcel Sabitzer didn't seem to fit in at Bayern Munich, hence he went on loan to Manchester United where he struggled to make a name for himself. Towards the start of his Dortmund tenure, though, he has impressed fans and seems to be establishing himself as a staple in the starting lineup. Long may this form continue.
