4. Jude Bellingham (€30.15m)
To sign Jude Bellingham for just €30.15m seems insane now, given the career he has forged for himself since joining BVB. The England international who was signed from his boyhood club Birmingham City in 2020 had a stellar three years with Borussia Dortmund.
Although Dortmund fans might not like to remember the 2022/23 season for obvious reasons, it was the season which Bellingham proved he is world-class to the rest of Europe. It was in this season that Bellingham won the Bundesliga Player of the Year award, becoming the first Englishman to ever win the personal accolade.
His last Borussia Dortmund match was one to forget since BVB dropped two points and handed the Bundesliga trophy to Bayern Munich. However, this season was mostly positive and Bellingham was eventually sold to Real Madrid for €103m. Not bad profit, all things considered.
