AC Milan keen on signing Marius Wolf on a free transfer
Marius Wolf is attracting the interest of Italian giants AC Milan, who could look to sign him on a free transfer this summer.
With his contract expiring at the end of the season, Marius Wolf will officially leave Borussia Dortmund as a free agent next month. A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the boyhood BVB fan, who began his career at the club as a winger before switching to right-back.
According to BILD, AC Milan are keen on signing Wolf on a free transfer. The 28 year old is thought to be open to a move to the Serie A, but has yet to make a final decision on his future.
Reports have also linked Wolf with a move to the Saudi Pro League in recent weeks, while Leeds United are also said to be interested in his signature.
Wolf managed to establish himself as a reliable squad member at Borussia Dortmund, and also won five caps for the Germany national team last year. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the versatile wide player.
Borussia Dortmund signed Marius Wolf from Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee of five million euros in 2018. He has made a total of 121 appearances for the Black and Yellows, and has five goals and six assists to his name. He had his BVB farewell at the Westfalenstadion last weekend, but will hope to make one more appearance for the club in the Champions League final against Real Madrid on June 1.
