1. Nico Schlotterbeck
Atletico Madrid are infamous for their defensive system. It's one of the best in the world and they are a proven tough nut to crack, especially when they play at home. However, it is important for Edin Terzic to not become too distracted by his attacking philosophy and instead, he should set-up to beat Atletico at their own game.
Thankfully for Terzic, the centre back choice picks itself, Nico Schlotterbeck has been the mainstay of the Borussia Dortmund starting lineup this season since no player has more appearances than him this season (27 Bundesliga appearances, all of them in the starting lineup).
It will be no different in the Champions League, since Schlotterbeck's colossal frame could be enough to prevent Griezmann and Morata from having a field-day.
