While most of the Euro 2024 qualification has wrapped up, the U-21 teams are still fiercely competing for a place at the U-21 European Championship that will take place next summer.

Youssoufa Moukoko started for Germany in their disappointing 0-0 draw with Kosovo. They’ll look to defeat Israel next week to maintain pressure on Poland at the top of their qualifying group. Julian Duranville played from the 64th minute on in Belgium’s 3-1 defeat of Malta, while Jamie Bynoe-Gittens played the final 16 minutes of England’s 5-1 thrashing of Azerbaijan.

Ian Maatsen on the other hand, played the second half of a friendly match, the Netherlands’ 2-1 loss to Norway. Dortmund’s young blood continues to develop on the international stage.

In North America, Dortmund loanee, Gio Reyna, starred for the United States as they won the CONCACAF Nations League. Reyna came on as a second-half substitute in USMNT's 3-1 semifinal win over Jamaica, and assisted both goals in extra time. Gio earned a place in the starting lineup for the final, and scored the second in USA’s 2-0 win against Mexico on Sunday night.
