B-V-Briefing - A roundup of all things Borussia Dortmund
By Joseph Meyer
Back onto the pitch, where Edin Terzic continues to be under pressure. This past weekend's win should buy him some time, but the team's performance did little sooth the minds of anxious match viewers.
Julian Nagelsmann's name has been touted as a possible replacement, but with him coaching the Germany national team up until the Euros this summer, would he really want to take on the task? Wouldn't Dortmund want someone who could start right at the beginning of the summer? If Terzic were to be sacked at this stage of the season, surely any combination of Nuri Sahin and Sven Bender would act as caretakers.
And lastly, a look at some former Dortmund players. Erling Haaland broke another record last week when he scored five goals against Luton Town in the FA Cup. He followed it up by scoring again during the Manchester Derby against United.
Jude Bellingham was handed a controversial red card following Real Madrid's draw against Valencia. The midfielder scored a would-be winner just seconds after the final whistle blew, and was subsiquently sent off for dissent. Gio Reyna is finding life difficult at Nottingham Forest, and he was left off of the most recent match-day squad due to a minor knock. Will the young American find his form abroad?
