Borussia Dortmund’s hunt for future reinforcements has brought their attention once again to the Bundesliga with the club seemingly interested in Werder Bremen’s Eren Dinkci. The player is currently on loan with Heidenheim, where he has impressed throughout the course of the current campaign.

Dinkci has been in good form for Heidenheim this season, with the German winger having netted seven times and providing three assists in what had been a strong campaign for the club as a whole. Heidenheim have been a very tough nut for some Bundesliga sides to crack, including Dortmund. It was actually Dinkci that scored in an encounter between the two sides in September; a moment that could have first brought the player to Dortmund’s attention.

Thw wide positions at the club are positions that, as mentioned quite a bit in recent weeks, Dortmund will likely be actively looking to find solutions for this summer with so many unknowns regarding who will stay and who will go ahead of what's meant to be a comprehensive rebuild. Donyell Malen may indeed be a candidate for sale, while the future of Jadon Sancho beyond this summer is also still up for debate.

The club also seem to be interested in the likes of Chris Führich, Bilal El Khannouss and Désiré Doué, and just like with these aforemntioned players, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are also allegedly interested. All three clubs seem to have similar shopping priorities this summer, which will make for an interesting transfer period.

At this current juncture in time, the player’s current valuation sits at 6 million euros. This valuation could yet increase if he continues to perform at the top level for Heidenheim, however.
