Borussia Dortmund are hoping that Julien Duranville can return to full fitness in time for the club's training camp next month after spending the entire first half the of the season out with injury.

Julien Duranville has been forced to deal with a string of injury setbacks since his move to Borussia Dortmund from RSC Anderlecht in January. The highly rated winger has made just one first-team appearance for the Black and Yellows, and has been sidelined since July with a thigh injury.

Duranville returned to the training pitch earlier this month, and has been working on his comeback from injury. The hope at Borussia Dortmund is that he will be able to take the next step on his road to full fitness next month during the first-team's warm weather training camp in Marbella.

Borussia Dortmund are set to play two friendly matches as part of the training camp, and the hope will be that Duranville can get some playing time under his belt.

Julien Duranville is regarded as one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe, and Borussia Dortmund spent close to ten million euros to beat out competition from a number of big clubs and sign him in January.

The 17 year old showed glimpses of his quality during his BVB first-team debut against Mainz 05 on the final day of last season, and against San Diego Loyal during pre-season. He will now hope to return to full fitness in the coming weeks and make his return to the BVB squad.
