Borussia Dortmund's Niclas Füllkrug upset by questions regarding Julian Nagelsmann's future
The international break is well and truly in full swing, with many of Borussia Dortmund's players on duty for their respective nations. Even with club football being on hold for the next week or so, it's no surprise that the rumor mill keeps on churning.
For Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Füllkrug, this was ever the case after Germany's 2-0 win over France in their most recent friendly this weekend. Reporters were keen to ask Füllkrug about the possibility of the former RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich coach taking the helm and replacing Edin Terzić.
Füllkrug didn't take kindly to the question per reports, which, in the grand scheme of things is relatively understandable. He responded, "What kind of question is that? Is there anything else?"
The striker only came on as a substitute in Germany's clash with France, but was eager to share his optimistic perspective on the team's performance:
"When we are in possession of the ball and let the ball run, we are already a really good team and it helps us through its quality to have even more possession of the ball... You don't always have to talk in superlatives immediately. But I think it's good if we stay a little humble now and continue to work just like that."

The performance as a whole has given new life to Germany's hopes at the upcoming euros, as has the work that Julian Nagelsmann has done to get the team clicking again. There's already talk of having Nagelsmann extend with the German national team as his contract expires at the conclusion of the Euros, but there's still no clarity on the subject.
Nalgelsmann has seemed very open to accepting a new project should the right proposal come his way, and Dortmund have been touted to be keen on obtaining his services. It remains to be seen just what the future holds for both Nagelsmann and Dortmund, but it's clear that if the club do want to secure his services, they would have to do so sooner rather than later to make sure they don't miss their chance.
