Union Berlin 2-1 Borussia Dortmund: Player Ratings
Gregor Kobel (6/10)
Kobel guessed the right way with Vogt's penalty, but could not make the save. The Swiss shot stopper's view was obstructed for the second goal. He made a couple of decent saves in the second-half.
Yan Couto (5/10)
Couto started well but ended up having a difficult afternoon, with Union Berlin getting a lot of joy while attacking from his flank. He also looked shaky in possession and struggled against the home side's physicality and intensity.
Waldemar Anton (5/10)
Anton did not make any major errors, but also failed to offer any control or security as the Borussia Dortmund defenders struggled to keep the Berliners at bay.
Nico Schlotterbeck (4/10)
Schlotterbeck was booked early on and then gave away a penalty with a clumsy foul inside the box. He was somewhat fortunate not to pick up a second yellow card, and just looked out of sorts both in and out of possession.
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson marked his return to Union Berlin with a well taken goal. He was also tested in defence, but came out looking better than his teammates.
