Borussia Dortmund are Champions League semifinals bound after Marcel Sabitzer inspired them to a thrilling come from behind win against Atletico Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid played out a Champions League tie for the ages, with Edin Terzic's side coming out on top 5-4 on aggregate in the end to qualify for the semifinals for the first time since 2013. The two teams exchanged blow after blow over the course of the two legs. But Marcel Sabitzer proved to be the difference maker, assisting two goals before scoring the winning goal for Borussia Dortmund.

A 20-minute spell in the second-half aside, Borussia Dortmund dominated the second leg and showed that they well and truly belong on the big stage. Backed by the electric Westfalenstadion crowd, the Black and Yellows played some of their best attacking football of the season so far. And their reward now is a Champions League semifinal tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
