Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Atletico Madrid: Marcel Sabitzer the hero in dramatic comeback win
Emre Can (7/10)
Can put in one of his best performances of the season so far and made a number of vital recoveries for his side. He got stuck in and helped nullify the Atletico Madrid midfield, which caused Borussia Dortmund so many problems in the first leg.
Marcel Sabitzer (9/10)
Sabitzer has been in excellent form of late, and proved to be Borussia Dortmund's hero once again on Tuesday. The Austrian international assisted two goals and then scored the winner. He had a difficult start to the game, missing a glorious chance to score after just three minutes. But he more than made up for it by setting up Maatsen and Füllkrug, before finding the bottom corner to secure BVB's semifinal passage.
Julian Brandt (8/10)
Brandt swapped places with Sabitzer to a great effect, and was a nightmare for the Atletico midfield and defence to deal with. He was excellent on the ball, scored the opening goal, and worked immensely hard to ensure that Atletico weren't able to gain a foothold on the game.
