A hat-trick from Niclas Füllkrug helped Borussia Dortmund earn a 3-1 win against a resilient Bochum side, as they moved into the Bundesliga top four.

Borussia Dortmund survived a scare against local rivals VfL Bochum, with Niclas Füllkrug's hat-trick helping them earn a 3-1 win. The Black and Yellows' performance certainly left a lot to be desired, but they once again claimed the three points, taking their winning run to three matches.

Füllkrug scored two penalties and also found the net with a header to give his side the win. An own goal from Nico Schlotterbeck had earlier helped Bochum get back on level terms. But the gulf in individual quality between the two sides was the difference in the end, as Borussia Dortmund flexed their muscle to clinch the win.

Here are our player ratings from Borussia Dortmund's 3-1 win over Bochum.

Alexander Meyer (5/10)

Meyer's miscommunication with Schlotterbeck resulted in an own goal. He was hardly tested other than that.
