Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-1 win over Bochum
By Tushar Bahl
Thomas Meunier (5/10)
Meunier failed to make any impact going forward and also had a tough time defensively in the first-half against Christopher Antwi-Adjei. He did make a team-high seven clearances, but his positioning in defence wasn't always the best.
Niklas Süle (6/10)
Süle took a rather sluggish approach in the lead-up to Bochum's equaliser. But, other than that, he had a very solid game and kept things tight defensively.
Nico Schlotterbeck (5/10)
Schlotterbeck had a promising start to the game, but things took a turn on the stroke of half-time as his miscommunication with Meyer resulted in an own goal. The Germany international looked sloppy on a number of occasions in the second-half as well. But ultimately, he ended up making some vital recoveries for his side.
Ian Maatsen (7/10)
Maatsen continued his strong start to life at Borussia Dortmund. The left-back made a crucial last-ditch tackle in the second-half and performed his defensive duties really well. He wasn't as effective going forward, but still linked up rather well with his teammates.
