Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-1 win over Bochum
By Tushar Bahl
Salih Özcan (5/10)
Özcan's underwhelming start to the second half of the season continued, as he put in an excruciatingly laboured shift in the middle of the park. The Turkish international failed to take advantage of Borussia Dortmund's dominance in possession, and was often too passive. He also left too much open space for Patrick Osterhage on a few occasions.
Marcel Sabitzer (7/10)
Sabitzer did well to set up Füllkrug for the goal that restored Borussia Dortmund's lead. The Austrian international darted forward more often and put in a much improved overall display for his side. He was still frustratingly slow in the build-up play at times, which is something he will hope to improve in the coming games.
Jadon Sancho (6/10)
Sancho celebrated his return to the Westfalenstadion and showed flashes of his quality, while also playing some clever passes. But his lack of sharpness was telling, even if he did get stuck in and put in a hard working shift. It is clear that he still needs some time to find his rhythm, but there are still plenty of promising signs.
Donyell Malen (6/10)
Malen was left frustrated after an excellent start that saw him win a penalty for his side after just two minutes. The Dutchman was hardly involved following that in the first-half, and also failed to make an impact after the break.
