Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-0 win over Darmstadt
By Tushar Bahl
Salih Özcan (4/10)
Özcan had a difficult time in defensive midfield as he was overrun by Darmstadt. He struggled in duels and also looked too passive both with and without the ball. The Turkish international failed to provide any impetus to the BVB midfield, especially in the second-half.
Marcel Sabitzer (6/10)
Sabitzer had a mixed bag of a game, as he set up a few chances for his teammates but also found himself chasing bodies whenever Darmstadt looked to counter-attack. He improved on both ends as the game went on and also helped set up Youssoufa Moukoko while under pressure late on.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Brandt continued his fine scoring run by giving Borussia Dortmund the lead in the first-half. He looked lively at times in the first-half, but ran out of steam after the break. Still, he managed to make a telling impact on the game.
