Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-0 win over Darmstadt
By Tushar Bahl
Donyell Malen (6/10)
Malen had a number of promising moments and also played a key role in setting up Marco Reus' goal. He was a bit wasteful at times in the first-half, but found a lot more joy as the game became more stretched after the break.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (7/10)
Bynoe-Gittens set up Brandt for Borussia Dortmund's opening goal. His run and pass on the counter-attack was simply sublime, and showed once again why he is a regular starter for BVB. The 19 year old had a few other encouraging moments in the first-half, before being replaced by Jadon Sancho.
Niclas Füllkrug (5/10)
It was a frustrating game for Füllkrug, who was unable to impact the game in the way he would have liked. He seemed to be snatching at his chances after being starved of any real service for so long.
Jadon Sancho (7/10)
Sancho looked lively on his Borussia Dortmund return and marked his loan move from Manchester United with an assist for Reus. He helped make the difference for BVB at a time when Darmstadt were looking dangerous.
Marco Reus (6/10)
Reus doubled BVB's lead with a tap-in, and should have scored again in the 88th minute.
Youssoufa Moukoko, Gio Reyna, Niklas Süle (N/R)
Moukoko did really well to add a third goal for Borussia Dortmund late on.
