Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-2 defeat to Hoffenheim
By Tushar Bahl
Marcel Sabitzer (6/10)
Playing in the lone number six role, Sabitzer did an excellent job of conducting BVB's attacking play in the first-half. He put in the hard work and was heavily involed in a lot of his side's dangerous attacks. But the Austrian international also left a lot of space in behind at times.
Marco Reus (7/10)
Reus had a lively game and set up both of Borussia Dortmund's goals. He also set up a couple of other chances for his teammates, and came close to scoring himself.
Julian Brandt (5/10)
Brandt helped create the equaliser and also had some sharp touches in and around the box. His influence on the game waned quickly after the two-goal burst, until he set up a glorious chance for Can late on.
