Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven
By Tushar Bahl
Julian Ryerson (5/10)
Ryerson did not have the best of games at right-back. The Norwegian international struggled against Ismael Saibari, with a number of PSV attacks coming from his flank. He also failed to offer much going forward.
Mats Hummels (7/10)
The dubious penalty giveaway aside, Hummels had an excellent game at centre-back. The veteran defender was at the right place, at the right time more often than not. He made a number of crucial recoveries for his side, before being adjudged to have fouled Malik Tillman inside the box.
Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)
Schlotterbeck had a decent game and defended well for the most part despite having a few shaky moments. But he will be suspeneded for the second leg after picking up a yellow card.
Ian Maatsen (4/10)
Making his Champions League debut, Maatsen endured a difficult start to the game and struggled to keep pace with Johan Bakayoko. Things did not get any better for him, with the yellow card he picked up making his job a lot harder.
