Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw against Augsburg
By Tushar Bahl
Thomas Meunier (5/10)
Meunier returned to the starting XI and actually had a decent first-half that included some excellent crosses into the box. He put in a hard-working shift, but also had a very difficult time defensively as Augsburg created a number of really good opportunities down his flank in the second-half.
Niklas Süle (6/10)
Süle recovered well after a rough start and made several vital recoveries for his side. While they weren't as spectacular as his clearance against PSG on Wednesday, the centre-back was there whenever his team needed him.
Nico Schlotterbeck (5/10)
Schlotterbeck was muscled off the ball far too easily in the build-up to Augsburg's goal. He improved greatly after that, and helped stop a number of Augsburg attacks. But the damage was already done by Ermedin Demirović's goal.
Ramy Bensebaini (6/10)
Bensebaini had a strong first-half and enjoyed a hard-fought batttle against Kevin Mbabu. He also put in his best attacking performance in a BVB shirt after the break. Had he been a tad more disciplined defensively early in the second-half, Augsburg wouldn't have had as much free reign down his flank.
