Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen
By Tushar Bahl
Marius Wolf (3/10)
Wolf had a very difficult evening at right-back and was beaten too easily time and time again by Florian Wirtz and Álex Grimaldo. He also lost sight of Victor Boniface ahead of Leverkusen's equalising goal.
Mats Hummels (8/10)
Hummels followed up his man of the match performance against AC Milan with another excellent defensive showing against Leverkusen. The veteran centre-back made a number of important challenges and last-ditch recoveries to prevent Leverkusen from going in behind or scoring. Although his positioning in the lead-up to Leverkusen's equaliser was questionable at best.
Nico Schlotterbeck (7/10)
Schlotterbeck had another solid game in the BVB defence. He did look careless on a couple of set-pieces, but still managed to put out a number of fires for his side. Unfortunately, he was forced to come off in the second-half due to a muscle issue.
Julian Ryerson (8/10)
Ryerson gave Borussia Dortmund the lead with a well-taken goal, and then proceeded to put in a strong defensive performance at left-back. The Norwegian international did a decent job of keeping the dangerous Jeremie Frimpong quiet, and made a number of crucial tackles for his side.
