Emre Can (5/10)

Can didn't look too comfortable with the ball at his feet, and nearly gifted Leverkusen a goal with a turnover in possession on the edge of the box. The BVB captain needs to offer the team more security in the middle of the park.

Marcel Sabitzer (5/10)

Sabitzer played an important part in the lead-up to Borussia Dortmund's goal. But he wasn't able to get forward much after that. He worked hard without the ball for his side, but also lost possession far too easily on a number of occasions.

Julian Brandt (4/10)

Brandt got into some really good positions on the counter-attack but failed to make it count against his former club. The playmaker gifted possession away cheaply on a number of occasions in the first half.
