Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw against Wolfsburg
By Tushar Bahl
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson found it difficult to get involved in the game going forward. But he did really well defensively, making several vital tackles for his side. He worked hard for the team and kept things tight on his flank.
Niklas Süle (6/10)
Süle did a decent job of dealing with Wolfsburg's attacking threat. He won a lot of duels, made some crunching tackles, and also recovered the ball well when required. The centre-back had the golden opportunity to set up a late winner for BVB, but put too much pace on his squared pass.
Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)
Like his centre-back partner, Schlotterbeck had a decent game. He did have a couple of scares, but did his job without much fuss for the most part. And he also started a number of BVB attacks from the back.
Ian Maatsen (5/10)
Maatsen was always looking to get into midfield positions, but also left a lot of gaps at left-back as a result. He didn't always look secure defensively, and also failed to make the desired impact going forward.
