Emre Can (4/10)

Can had another rough game in defensive midfield as things didn't really work out for him. The BVB captain made a number of sloppy errors and the tense atmosphere also quickly threw him off his game.

Marcel Sabitzer (7/10)

Sabitzer played a key role in Borussia Dortmund's early opener with his lobbed pass into the box. He put in a hard working shift for his team and looked lively whenever he got close to the final third. The Austrian international will certainly want to keep working on his finishing. But he was one of BVB's best outfield players against Wolfsburg.

Julian Brandt (4/10)

Brandt did not enjoy the best of returns to the starting XI as he put in a lethargic shift and found it very difficult to cause any problems to the Wolfsburg defenders. Although he did set up Süle with a golden opportunity late on, and that was his best moment of the match.
