Julian Ryerson (6/10)

Ryerson was involved in a hard-fought battle against the lively Chris Führich, and came out on top more often than not. He worked effortlessly for the team once again without really offering much in attack.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

While not as dominant as last weekend, Hummels had a decent game and helped keep things solid at the back for Borussia Dortmund. He also played a couple of his trademark forward passes that resulted in decent chances.

Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)

Schlotterbeck put in an excellent defensive shift for Borussia Dortmund, and won the majority of his duels. He anticipated danger well and was always looking to be proactive. But he also missed a golden chance to equalise from two yards out in the 81st minute, which proved to be very costly in the end.

Ian Maatsen (5/10)

Maatsen's decision making in attack left a lot to be desired, and he also had a difficult time defensively. He afforded Jamie Leweling too much space and time on the wing on a few occasions, and also failed to track back before Stuttgart's winner.
