Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen
By Tushar Bahl
Emre Can (4/10)
Can was rather lucky that his foul on Frimpong in the first-half did not result in a penalty for Bayer Leverkusen. He had a very ordinary game and clumsily lost possession a fair few times in the first-half. He was also sluggish in his duels and too passive on the ball.
Marcel Sabitzer (6/10)
Sabitzer came close to opening the scoring late in the first-half, and then set up Füllkrug for the opening goal. He did show signs of tiredness, having been Borussia Dortmund's difference maker over the last two games. But he still did his job well for the most part in defence, and also came up with a vital assist.
Julian Brandt (6/10)
Brandt's flick helped make Borussia Dortmund's goal happen. He found it difficult to get involved in the game in the first-half, but put in a much improved performance after the break.
