Emre Can (5/10)

Can found it difficult to find his feet against the lively Eintracht Frankfurt midfield. He looked somewhat overwhelmed at times, and his lack of control made it difficult for Borussia Dortmund to play with a more expansive style. But he also had a few moments where he showcased his class by making intelligent recoveries.

Pascal Groß (7/10)

Groß helped Borussia Dortmund regain control of the game after Eintracht Frankfurt's initial burst. The former Brighton midfielder worked very hard for the team and also helped set up the opening goal.

Marcel Sabitzer (5/10)

Sabitzer came close to scoring in the first-half, but it was largely a frustrating evening for the Austrian as he was unable to influence the game in the manner he would have liked. As usual, though, he put in a hard-working shift for the team.

Julian Brandt (6/10)

Brandt made a slow start but grew into the game slowly. He had a couple of attempts at goal that looked promising. He also linked up well with his teammates, without being able to make a telling impact on the game.
