Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 2-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (6/10)
Bynoe-Gittens had some promising moments in the final third, with his dribbling causing the Gladbach defenders a few problems early on. The final touch/pass was often lacking though, and he was replaced in the 53rd minute after possibly picking up an injury.
Karim Adeyemi (3/10)
Adeyemi failed to continue his strong run of form as he found it difficult to get involved in the game. He thought he had won his side a penalty early in the second-half, before it was chalked off. Things then got worse for the Germany international as he was sent off after carelessly picking up two yellow cards.
Sebastien Haller (N/R)
Haller's return to the starting XI lasted just nine minutes as he picked up an injury and was forced to come off.
Youssoufa Moukoko (5/10)
Moukoko came on in the tenth minute to replace the injured Haller. But it was clear that he was lacking match rhythm as he only managed 12 touches of the ball and failed to impact the game before being subbed off in the 70th minute.
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson replaced Maatsen at half-time and put in a rather solid shift at left-back.
