Gregor Kobel (7/10)

It could have been a lot worse for Borussia Dortmund on Sunday, but Kobel stood up and made a number of big saves against his former club. He didn't stand much of a chance with any of the five goals.

Julian Ryerson (3/10)

Ryerson looked overwhelmed at right-back, with Stuttgart predominantly attacking from his side. His positioning was poor, especially before the second goal. And he was taken off at half-time.

Waldemar Anton (3/10)

Anton endured a nightmarish return to his former club and was booed every time he touched the ball. It certainly seemed to have an impact on his performance as he was second best in a lot of his duels.

Niklas Süle (3/10)

Süle lost his footing in the build-up to Stuttgart's opening goal, and it didn't get any better for him after that. His positioning was poor in the lead-up to the second goal, and he was too slow to react to prevent Undav from scoring the fifth late on.

Nico Schlotterbeck (3/10)

Schlotterbeck clearly looked uncomfortable in the hybrid left centre-back/left-back role and found it very difficult to get going. He was beaten way too easily in the build-up to Stuttgart's fourth goal, and had an evening to forget.
