An excellent team performance helped Borussia Dortmund earn a 1-0 win in the first leg of their Champions League semifinal against PSG.

Borussia Dortmund were the better team right from the start, and controlled the first leg for the majority of the 90 minutes. Buoyed by the rapturous crowd at the Westfalenstadion, the BVB players seemed to be in inspired form.

Niclas Füllkrug scored the winning goal for Borussia Dortmund, who were mature and discplined in all departments. The Black and Yellows played like a team, and managed to stifle PSG for most of the game.

Jadon Sancho also showcased his sublime ability, while Mats Hummels took home the man of the match award after another commanding shift at centre-back.

The task now for Edin Terzic's side is to make the most of this lead and pick up right where they left off when the two sides square off in Paris next week. Here are our Borussia Dortmund player ratings from their 1-0 win over PSG.

Gregor Kobel (7/10)

Kobel was lucky that his post prevented PSG from scoring twice in a matter of a few seconds. But he still put in an excellent shift for his side, made some vital saves, and also looked decent in possession.
