Borussia Dortmund left it late but got the job done in the end, earning a 3-1 win over a resolute Eintracht Frankfurt side. Goals from Karim Adeyemi, Mats Hummels and Emre Can gave BVB the three points after Mario Götze had given the Eagles the lead early on. It was a hard-fought win for the Black and Yellows, who continued their winning run and returned to fourth place in the Bundesliga standings.

It was certainly not a complete performance from Borussia Dortmund, but they were clinical in front of goal, and also showed more composure in the in the decisive moments in the second-half. Edin Terzic can certainly take a lot of positives from his side's display. Although there is also plenty of room for improvement ahead of the trip to Bayern Munich in two weeks' time.

Here are our player ratings from Borussia Dortmund's 3-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Alexander Meyer (7/10)

Meyer once again did a great job of filling in for the injured Gregor Kobel, and made a number of crucial saves for his side. The 32 year old hardly put a foot wrong and was unlucky to be beaten by Mario Götze's strike in the first-half.
