Donyell Malen and Niclas Füllkrug were on the scoresheet for Borussia Dortmund as they dismantled a beleaguered SC Freiburg side 3-0.

Borussia Dortmund flexed their attacking muscle to beat SC Freiburg 3-0 and make it four wins out of five in the Bundesliga in 2024. A brace from Donyell Malen and a late header from Niclas Füllkrug helped the Black and Yellows consolidate their place in the Bundesliga top four.

Edin Terzic's side didn't really need to break much sweat over the course of the 90+ minutes, with SC Freiburg hardly mustering any clear cut chances. Had Borussia Dortmund been slightly more clinical in front of goal, they would have won by an even bigger margin. But the performance and the result both showed marked improvement, and there are plenty of positives to take from this game for BVB.

Here are our player ratings from Borussia Dortmund's 3-0 win over SC Freiburg.

Gregor Kobel (6/10)

Kobel was hardly tested and had just two routine saves to make over the course of the 90 minutes on his return to the starting XI.
