Emre Can (5/10)

Can's decision making was called into question at times, and he also had some unnecessary ball losses on his return to the starting XI. He improved as the game went on, but Borussia Dortmund's need for a better ball-playing number six is glaring.

Marcel Sabitzer (7/10)

Sabitzer made a strong start to the game and did really well to progress the ball through midfield before crossing into the box before Donyell Malen's opener. He looked lively in the first-half, showing glimpses of the quality that prompted Borussia Dortmund to sign him. He had a much quieter second-half.

Marco Reus (7/10)

Reus made his return to the starting XI and it did not take him long to stamp his authority on the pitch. The former BVB captain dropped into some really shrewd positions, drove the ball well, and came close to scoring twice in the second-half.
