Thomas Meunier (6/10)

Meunier put in an improved display at right-back and managed to keep things tight, barring a couple of sloppy moments. He also came close to scoring and delivered a couple of dangerous crosses into the box.

Niklas Süle (6/10)

Süle had a decent first-half and did not do much wrong before being replaced at half-time due to back problems.

Nico Schlotterbeck (7/10)

Schlotterbeck was solid once again for Borussia Dortmund without having to do anything spectacular. He made a number of vital clearances for his side and also completed all but two of his passes.

Ian Maatsen (8/10)

Maatsen was one of Borussia Dortmund's best players on the pitch, with his shrewd decision making on both the attacking and defensive end helping him stand out. His pass to set up Donyell Malen's for BVB's third goal was simply outstanding, and he also influenced the team's build-up play by slotting into midfield.
