Özcan marked his return to Köln with a rather below-par performance. He had a very difficult time in the first-half, and things did not get much better for him after the break as he had several avoidable ball losses.
Marcel Sabitzer (6/10)
Sabitzer ended up having a decent game in midfield after a difficult start. The Austrian international didn't manage to offer much going forward, but kept his composure and discipline at all times.
Julian Brandt (6/10)
Brandt was kept quiet by his relatively high standards, and the things he tried didn't always come off. But he still produced a moment of sublime quality to set up Donyell Malen for Borussia Dortmund's opening goal.
