Jadon Sancho (7/10)

Sancho had some lively and not so lively moments, as he was largely kept out of the game by the Köln defenders. But he still managed to make his presence felt and won his side a penalty at a crucial juncture of the game. The Englishman also helped out defensively before coming off in the second-half.

Donyell Malen (8/10)

Malen was the star of the show for Borussia Dortmund, scoring from both of his shots and leading his side to a key win. The Dutchman is very difficult to stop when he is on his game and playing with confidence, and that proved to be the case again against FC Köln.

Niclas Füllkrug (6/10)

Füllkrug kept his composure from the spot and doubled Borussia Dortmund's lead. He didn't have the best of games other than that, and often struggled to get involved.

Hendry Blank (6/10)

Blank was called into action moments after coming on for his Bundesliga debut. He had a fairly decent outing all things considered, and helped his side keep a vital clean sheet.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Marco Reus, Gio Reyna, Youssoufa Moukoko (N/R)

Moukoko and Bynoe-Gittens combined for Borussia Dortmund's fourth goal late on, helping the former make it two goals in 25 minutes in 2024.
