DM: Pascal Groß - With Felix Nmecha a doubt and Emre Can out of form, Groß could get a chance to start in the lone number six role. He is certainly capable of playing there, and the Bochum game is the perfect opportunity to play him there with Borussia Dortmund set to dominate proceedings.
CM: Marcel Sabitzer - Sabitzer's desire to play in the middle of the park has been well documented. And he should finally get the opportunity to start there after being asked to fill in as a winger in recent games.
AM: Julian Brandt - Borussia Dortmund fans are still waiting for Brandt to make his presence felt this season. And the playmaker will hope to use the Bochum game to kick-start his campaign.
