Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSG: Three takeaways as BVB reach Champions League final

Borussia Dortmund show their mettle and prove everyone wrong
Have you criticized Edin Terzic this season? I’m certainly guilty of it, and I’m not saying it was never warranted, but Borussia Dortmund are headed to the UEFA Champions League final. And credit must be given to Terzic for his tactical exploits in this campaign. He stuck by his "less sexy, more successful" motto and it has worked like a charm in the Champions League.
Borussia Dortmund are set for their first Champions League final since 2013. At the start of the season, could you have imagined we’d be heading to Wembley?
I’ll be first to admit that I was a critic of last summer’s transfer window, but look at how Marcel Sabitzer has turned out? Niklas Füllkrug scored the crucial winner in the first leg, and his physicality made him a menace against the PSG centre-backs.
This Borussia Dortmund team may not have stars like Erling Haaland or Jude Bellingham anymore. But Terzic has gotten BVB to play like a team. Everyone has a role to play, and this squad looks more like a team than I’ve seen from Dortmund in a long time.
