Borussia Dortmund have a rich history in the UEFA Champions League, winning it once and coming runner-up once. Known for their incredible fan presence and European atmosphere, they have also played some pretty electric games in the competition. 1. Marco Reus (23 goals)
It just had to be, didn't it? During a period where many of the club's best players decided to jump ship, Marco Reus proved his loyalty to the club he loves and because of this, he is making the history books.
The Germany international who was part of the Champions League final team in 2013 has scored an impressive 23 goals in the UCL throughout his career.
Perhaps the most memorable goal scored by Marco Reus in the Champions League was against Malaga in the 2nd leg knockout tie, where Reus scored in stoppage time to secure his side going through to the semifinal. He was important throughout this entire campaign, even winning a penalty in the final against Bayern Munich, but the result didn't go their way.
Reus is a club legend, without a shadow of a doubt. When he eventually hangs up his boots, he will be written into BVB folklore and his Champions League record will be difficult to beat.
