3. Erling Haaland (15 goals)

Erling Haaland's goal-scoring record is VERY impressive. During such a short period with Borussia Dortmund, he established himself as their 3rd leading goal-scorer in Champions League history.

It's hard to pick a stand-out performance in the Champions League since he was the most important player in every game he played in the competition for BVB. If I had to pick one, I would say the round of 16 fixture against Sevilla, where Haaland scored a brace in both the home and away fixture, resulting in Dortmund to go through to the quarterfinals.

For context, Erling Haaland was only with Dortmund for two seasons, as a teenager. However, he still managed to score an impressive 15 goals in the Champions League, making him the third highest goal-scorer in this list. Although Erling Haaland left to join Manchester City, his departure was expected and wasn't as heart-breaking as Robert Lewandowski, despite being a more potent goal-scorer.
