Edin Terzic has backed Youssoufa Moukoko to get more minutes at Borussia Dortmund if he continues to show his quality on the pitch.

It has been a frustrating season so far for Youssoufa Moukoko, who has found playing time hard to come by despite impressing whenever called upon. There was even talk of the 19 year old considering a move away from BVB, although the likelihood now is that he will stay at the club at least until the end of the season.

Moukoko showed his quality in front of goal once again last weekend during his ten-minute cameo, as he managed to glide past two Darmstadt defenders before finding the back of the net. The goal sparked renewed calls for him to be given more playing time. And Edin Terzic commented on his plans for the striker during his press conference on Thursday.

Terzic said that they are working on making Moukoko a more complete striker, and added that he will definitely get more playing time if he continues to make an impact.

"It's always important for strikers to score goals. We know all about his agility and dynamism, and that he can score in tight spaces. He has shown what he's capable of. If he continues like this, he will definitely get his minutes."

"The issues we've been focusing on with him for a long time are to make him even more complete. We don't just want him to get into the opposition's penalty area, we want to integrate him into our game when we come under pressure or when the ball is on the wing. We're working on that with all our strikers and Youssoufa is making good progress."

Youssoufa Moukoko made his first-team debut for Borussia Dortmund just one day after his 16th birthday. The highly rated striker has scored 15 goals in 86 appearances for BVB.
